Middle School Assignments

Over the summer, we want you to read something you’ll enjoy. Our summer reading lists include a wide range of titles suggested by students and teachers.

Find the links for your English class below. The assignments are printable and include a list of “Teacher Picks,” books that are highly recommended by your teacher. However, you may choose any book you like from your grade level or higher. (For example, an incoming 7th grader may read books at the 7th grade level or higher.)

Each document also contains graphic organizers for both fiction and nonfiction books to help you take notes while you read.
